MEXICO: part 1

On Our Way!!!

Collin and I were crazy enough to get scuba certified in August. 
So, we had to schedule a diving vacation!

We flew from Salt Lake City into Cancun, Mexico. 
Then stayed at all-inclusive resort in Playa Del Carmen, about 40 minutes south.

It was about a mile walk to the ferry that takes people over to Cozumel, where we went diving. 

 

 



Our first chance to relax!!  The first day,
we just wandered around to see what all we could do and where we could eat. :)

 

 

We made it to Cozumel.  That boat on the far right was our diving boat.

The girl sitting on the wall was my amazing dive master.  Her name is Amber.  She is a single mom to 2 girls. 
She gave me a pep talk before we went out, repeatedly told me to relax and take a deep breath, and
 held my hand the whole time.  It was a miracle the way we were led to her!
She was an angel and answer to my prayers.  By the end of the first dive, I was so happy!

 After our diving, we rented a scooter and drove to some ancient ruins on Cozumel. 

 

 

Just waiting around for the ferry.
