California Vacation!

We went with some friends on a weekend getaway to California! It was great to not worry about anything and have FUN! Knotts Berry Farm was our first stop.

Universal Studios was cold and wet! We did not have to wait in any lines, so it worked out great! We ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe.

On a tour in Universal Studios. They show you where and how they make movies.

Super Cute! Chris keeping Bita warm! It was freezing!

It was finally sunny and we made it to a beautiful beach!

We ate at a seafood restaurant. I got a delicious chicken sandwich!

Then we sat and watched the sunset....

It was the perfect vacation!

Christmas 2010

Christmas morning is so fun with little kids. They were excited about every thing in their stockings. Santa brought them a white vanity with a cute pink chair. Breah got a bowling set and robe. Addison got a horse with Dora. Kylie got the Magic Tree House book set.

Breah painting her nails at the new vanity. She had the best Christmas list ever. It included bubbles, coloring books, and paint. Sweet! Kylie asked for a scooter with only two wheels. The other things on her list were IPad, IPod, DSI, and computer. Ha ha!!!

Addison told everyone she wanted Barbie dot com. I laughed everytime she said it.

Ha ha! Christmas morning pictures are the best! I got Collin a jump rope with weights and a little kareoke thing. He got me a gift certificate for a massage! By the way, carmel ring with insant pudding is not as delicious as the kind you cook :(

Clarissa finally woke up. The girls could not wait to show her everything in her stocking and open her presents for her. It was way more exciting for them than for Clarissa.

sleigh ride

We went on an adventurous sleigh ride the week before Christmas. The girls were so excited. They asked if it was a real sleigh with real horses. They could not believe it! As soon as we got out of the car, they jumped on the back. Unfortunately, the horses jolted forward. Kylie, Breah, and their cousin, Lola, tipped right off the back onto the frozen ground. They seemed okay, just a little shaken up. Once we got everyone situated and going, I realized how long it had taken Breah to react after she fell and she had been quiet since then. She had no more interest in the horses or the ride. As soon as we got in the car, she cried that her head and neck hurt. We went to grandma's to exchange gifts. Breah just laid on the couch, miserable. It was so sad. We gave her some pain reliever. She threw up a couple times. She even told me to open her gift. And then she slept through everything else. I was so worried about her. We kept waking her up the rest of the night. But in the morning, she was ready to go to church before anyone else was out of bed. Thank goodness!
Grandma trying to keep Breah awake on the ride. Grandpa keeping Kylie safe. Collin and I were holding Clarissa and Addison with a million blankets piled on us. Shad and his family came too. It was hard to get pictures while holding on tight.

Christmas Eve.
All month I wanted to get a good picture of the kids infront of the tree. Maybe in their Christmas dresses or winter sweaters. Well, with church at 9 am and girls dressing up all day and naps and kids doing their own hair and school and practice and homework and fighting and crying.....I could go on and on....there was never the right moment! So here are my cutie pies the night before Santa came. They were so excited! I don't think they need any fancy matching clothes or cute bows and flowers. They are adorable either way!

big girl now

Clarissa is 15 1/2 months old now. She can climb up on the chairs, onto the table, and back down. She refuses to sit in the highchair now. So, we got out the booster seat for her. If anyone else (namely Addison) sits in it, she won't stop screaming.

She was so excited to have a corndog with catsup for the first time. She could not stop smiling and laughing.

This next picture is hilarious to me. Addison and I were showing her how to smile. Look at those cute teeth!

Clarissa can also climb on the piano bench. Some words she says are "boo", "thanks", "uh oh", "nuh uh" and "yuck". She walks all over the place and knows exactly what she wants.

Sledding

We went up to Warm River to get a Christmas tree this year. The girls had so much fun sledding with their cousins. They did not want to go home!

Check out my new headboard!
