Table Rock

Saturday, Collin and I were crazy enough to hike Table Rock. For those of you not familiar with it, it is a 11 mile hike, round trip. It has an amazing view of the Tetons when you get to the top. We did okay going up, until I got to the the last 100 hundred steps to the very top and it was killing me. We stayed up there and enjoyed our lunch. The way down was really hard on me. Every step I took I felt like I was going to roll down the mountain, so I took a really long time. Collin did great. He carried everything the whole time and was literally right on my heals! We are glad we did it again, but not in any hurry to do it again!!
There was a creek we passed several times.
This is picture of table rock from really, really far away.
These are some of the switch backs we had to go up and down. :)
 Getting closer...
...and closer...

...finally at the top, looking back where we came from(and the town of Driggs).
The beautiful Grand Teton. I think it was about a mile across.

new doos

Here are the before (the most recent I could find) and after's of Kylie and Breah's new hair cuts.
I kept asking Kylie if she was sure she wanted it so short. She replied yes every time because she wanted to be like her friend Oaklie. Breah didn't hesitate either, she wanted to go first!

This is Addison insisting on going down the steps alone. She did it, but fell on her knees on the last one. She is becoming very independent and tries to keep up with her big sisters. She finally said two new words over the weekend, up and apple. That is it besides moma, whoa, and "ink you" which she has said for awhile.

Finally

I think I am finally figuring this blogging stuff out. I have been messing around with it for a couple weeks. It is pretty addicting, almost as bad as those Twilight books. I will just post some pictures from our summer so far.
Addison eating her own ice cream cone.
Breah loved it and was happy as could be.
Kylie was mad that she did not get a vanilla milk shake!

At the spray park with our friends. None of the girls are actually brave enough to get wet. So I finally went down the slides with them. They did not want to go again!

I gave Collin a "surprise" barbeque. I had someone tell him he had a meeting and told everyone to come while he was gone. It didn't quite work. Only two people got there before Collin, but he was still surprised!
Collin's birthday cake. Red velvet...mmmm!! It was delicious!
I can't take the credit though, my mom made it.
