Kylie lately...

Kylie has been doing super good in school. Her water color was picked for the southeast idaho school art show. She is also reading very well. She has read several articles in the 'Friend' on her own, reads to her sisters at night, and even picked the scripture and read it without any help in primary closing exercises!

She lost her 2nd tooth the beginning of March and left the toothfairy a note asking if she could keep her tooth. Notice the top tooth is loose, but didn't fall out for an entire month. She wouldn't let me touch it. It finally came out in her cereal! So that is three total so far.

Easter 2010

Easter was really fun this year. We did a few things that helped them understand what Easter was all about. We also colored eggs, had an egg hunt in the house, tried to listen to confrence, and visited grandparents. The girls were very excited to wake up and find these!

Fun Sunday Dress Pictures!

Milestones

Clare loves this jumper so much. She jumps so high she actually gets air. It is so funny and entertaining for us all. She started sitting good on her own around 6 months, thanks to her sister. I don't leave her on the ground often with so many other kids around. Kylie was holding her for me. When I turned around she was sitting on the floor like a pro. Kylie had, of course, put a blanket around her in case she fell!

Clare has also been trying so hard to crawl. She is getting so close and can get around pretty well. If the girls see her trying, they just pull her to toy or bring the toy right to her hands. It is almost impossible to get a picture of her alone. When I try to get her to smile, everyone else jumps in with big grins!

February

Kylie has been asking me to cut her hair like Lucy's on Narnia. I told her I couldn't do it that short, so she would have to save her money(I really did not want it cut!). And she did. She was so excited sitting in the big chair. She just kept telling the lady that she wanted it shorter, too.

Breah is like a little mom. She is a big helper with the baby. Everytime Clarissa wimpers, Breah is the first to check on her and make her happy. This is Breah in one of her MANY dressup outfits. It is all or nothing for her!

Here is the snowman Kylie and Breah constructed all on their own. They put the umbrellas over it to keep the sun from melting it. The next morning they wanted to go out and adjust them!

Clarissa~ 6 months old

Clare Bear loves 'sitting' in her bouncer and playing on her tummy. She has been trying to get up on her knees, but just keeps scooting backwards. She is way ticklish and smiles all the time, but it is kind of tricky to get her to laugh. She is super content and rarely fussy. We all love her so much. With so many people wanting to hold her, it really is hard to get enough of her!

Sunday

Tonight Collin was telling the girls stories. He began telling them about Hansel and Gretel. Breah stopped him half way through and told him that she did not want to hear anymore scary stories. She said she has seen too many bad movies and is getting to many nightBEARS. Kylie then corrected her, calling them nightMIRRORS. They continued back and forth correcting eachother until Collin finally made fun of both of them and told them it was nightMARES!!
In other news, Addison turned 3 years old 11 min. after the deadline to go to Sunbeams. I was okay with it. I know how hard it is for those kids to sit still that long and not get any snacks. Plus, the kids in Sunbeams are a little more advanced and those in Nursery will be in her school grade. But today, when I brought her to nursery, she repeated several times that she wanted to go to "class". So I finally agreed and she loved it. She was so proud of herself!!! She is growing up so fast!

good times

You know those days where everything seems to go wrong. And they happen over and over, like ground hog day. And you start to wonder how in the world are my kids going to turn out okay? Then things like these happen... and I get enough hope to keep trying.

"Mother-may-I?" All lined up in their new nightgowns. I could not resist a photo!

Kylie reading a bed time story to Clare. Tonight she sang to her until she (Kylie) fell asleep.
I left Clare on my bed while Breah was playing games on the computer. This is what I came back to find. She is quickly becoming a pro.

Christmas Best

Christmas 2009

Kylie couldn't wait for Christmas morning, but when it finally came, it took her a little while to wake up. She also took her time to see everything in her stocking. She Asked Santa for just about everything in the Toys R Us catalog. She could not narrow it down at all! Santa gave her an Easy Bake Oven.

Breah was the first person to wake up, as always. I let her climb into bed with me to see if we could get anymore sleep, but it only lasted about a minute. She then went and woke up her sisters who both told her to leave her alone. Then they finally realized what day it was!

Breah asked Santa for "mermaid tails and shells". I thought about making something, until I saw this Ariel dress. Luckily, she liked it "more" than whatever it was she wanted and put it on immediately. Notice Addison already chowing down on the candy. She was pretty out of it until she saw the ballerina Barbie that Santa brought her.

But Ad was even more excited when she saw this. It got better when she realized she could sing all the songs with her...over and over and over while brushing her hair and wearing her crown!

I think this is all of it...

This is my favorite picture. Kylie got a Tinker Bell, Breah got Hannah Montana, and Addi got Barbie, Island Princess. I wasn't too sure about them, but the girls loved them... for a day anyway!

Clarissa finally woke up. The girls opened her gifts and shoved them all in her face!
